The Biggest Way to become a success? Setting Goals
I just finished watching this YouTube video about "10 habits of successful people" You can see it below:
My biggest take away is that I have to set goals for myself.
I realize more and more every day that I am not living the life that I want. I am not the weight that I want. I have way too much debt. I am doing the same thing every day. Yes, I have a good job and I am in a very fortunate situation of not being impoverished and all that, but I am still unhappy. I am not where I want to be.
But how can I get where I want to be if I don't know where I want to be?
So I'm taking a few minutes this morning to write a few blog posts. I'm about to write some goals down on a Google sheet and I'll share it with you.
You can't hit a target if you don't know where the target is, right? So let's make some.
My first goal
Most likely I'm going to tackle food, because food is seriously something I struggle with.
I will say my calorie goal for this week is to hit 2100 calories and nothing more. On my Noom account, it states I really should be eating 1590 calories, but my body gets way too hungry and I can't handle it. So if I can shoot for 2100, on average, throughout the week, I will decrease next week to 2000, and so on and so far. Start small, y'aknow.
My second goal
Exercise! Nothing crazy. At least 20 minutes of cardio exercises twice a week.
Muscle workout once a week.
Let's start off small. I literally have a gym next to me. so no excuses!
and that's it.
